we flew over alaska on our way from chicago to tokyo. i took these two pictures - one of mount mckinley (highest peak in north america), and one of some frozen river. what an awesome looking place!

i know i'm missing the cherry blossoms in dc, but they're also out here. so i'm going with latif to ueno park tomorrow (it's in tokyo; i'd like to also take the train to nagasaki, but i don't know if we'll have time) - it's supposedly the most famous place in the area to look at the blossoms.
