hi guys:

tokyo was nice - here's some pictures from there:

1) cherry blossoms. i missed them in washington, but caught them in tokyo. this was at ueno park, a place that's been famous for them since 1638.

2) man and dog statue. i have no idea who or what or why, but it's picture/silhouette is shown all over town, unfortunately explanations were only in japanese characters.

3) what people do on the tokyo subway. or they read. usually sleep, though.

we went down in the afternoon to kamakura - pam and i went there last time with jonathan. i'll pass those pictures on tomorrow.
